WOULD YOU LIKE THE JOIN THE FRIENDS?

We are very lucky that we have such a fine example of Norman church building in our town. We want to keep our beautiful parish church safe for future generations and help as many people as possible to enjoy its history and take in its atmosphere. You don’t need to be a churchgoer to join the Friends. You may have been baptised or married at the church, your children may have sung in carol services with the school, you may be interested in its history, or you may just enjoy the peace and quiet under its historic arches.

If you value the church do join the Friends and bring along your enthusiasm and ideas. It’s free and everyone is welcome!

  • We raise funds to repair the building and improve its facilities.
  • We run educational and community events that encourage everyone in Steyning to use and enjoy this unique building.
  • We publish literature about the church such as the ‘Guide to the Church’ and ‘Graveyard Gossip’

It is easy, and free, to join the Friends, and members receive invitations too events, updates on progress – and sometimes requests for help!
