If you wish to send a message to the Friends or indeed wish to become a member please use the form below. Alternatively send a direct email to friends@friendsofspc.org. We would love to hear from you.

There is no charge to become a member of The Friends, but of course donations are always welcome. It is easy, and free, to join the Friends. Just send us your name, home address and phone number. Members receive invitations to events, updates on progress – and sometimes requests for help!

Benefits of being a member include:

  • Opportunity to shape activities and events

To become a member of the Friends, we ask that you indicate your support for our objectives (outlined below) by typing “I agree” in the box above. This agreement simply acknowledges that you support the Friends having these objectives; it does not imply any obligation to actively work towards them. While we would be delighted if you choose to assist the Friends in any way that suits you, there is no requirement to do so. Additionally, membership of the Friends does not require church attendance.

The objectives are:

To help with the conservation, repair and improvement of the Parish Church of St Andrew and St Cuthman in Steyning, to include the monuments, fixtures and fittings, stained glass, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyard, and to promote the education of the public in the history of the Church.
